PolŻynki Street Festival Branding

The Polżynki Street Festival is a weekend long event held during the summer in Port Richmond, Philadelphia benefiting the ongoing war in Ukraine.

We were assigned to create and design a branding for an event, and the Polżynki Street Festival was also one of my first attempts at creating a full design system. For this project, I pulled inspiration from my own Polish heritage, and merged it with the gritty, bold, and vibrant attitude of Philadelphia.

My illustration style for this project was inspired by Polish folk art, and traditional wycinanki hand papercut techniques.
